🎶 GRANTA CHORALE
Granta Chorale, formed in 2007, is a chamber choir of 24 to 30 singers from Saffron Walden, Cambridge, and the surrounding area. We perform a wide variety of music from the Renaissance to the present day, much of it a cappella, and have earned a reputation for performing new music, including frequent premieres by the choir’s musical director, award-winning composer Janet Wheeler.
Granta Chorale enjoys frequent collaborations with a variety of local and national groups including English Touring Opera, the Armonico Consort and Saffron Walden Choral Society with performances in Saffron Hall, Ely Cathedral and other local venues.
